uigui is a great weblog by this chick called Gabriel. she also offers a free comments service which should be working in a matter of days. I've also learned through her site about mail2web which is a cool site that allows you to check your pop3 mail through their web-based client. Privacy issues are non-exsistent according to the site's FAQ. Does anyone have any expirience with this service ?

Yeah, I know, I suck. I should update more often, yada yada yada.
I've been working alot for the last couple of days, and trying desperatley to grab some sleep. I'll post when I have more time, but I'm using my spare time mainly for eating and sleeping and the such.
I really love this blog. I'm enjoying very much updating it. I'll have some goodies for you really soon. in the meanwhile, check out Oddpost.

Here's a nice new weblog I just found out. it uses a PHP powered publishing system called b2 which makes me kind of wonder about what it is all about. I will be sure to look into it. meanwhile, be sure to visit that blog, it's very nice !

You should really check out this game, you're supposed to help a guy clean his room before his parents get home. only thing is, he has lots of stuff there that'll really make you fear the parental rage. I've managed to finish the game. hooray !

Riddle me this, riddle me that, who really cares now that k10k is back ? =)

Has anyone bothered trying out KazaaLite ?

Jason suggests splitting MeFi into two "teams", that'll rival each other.
I take that idea a few steps forward. hmmm, Geekdraft, anyone ?

I got a job today, selling newspaper subscriptions. starting on sunday !
It's pretty good money, if you know how to sell. I think I know enough about people to start learning that fine art. and I hope I have the initial skill.
Other than that I'm thinking about this whole theory explaining why there just can't be peace in the middle-east. I might put it to print if I really feel it's necessary.
I pimped this site today and put a plug to it on my main site (tellinglies.org) which means people I don't know might come here and start reading what I write. I ask of you - please don't make me feel worse about myself by pimping this site to everyone you know. though I'm sure there's nothing to be that excited about in here. I mean, I know loads and loads of people who have more interesting lives, write better english than me, and have a bigger archive. I'm basically doing this for myself. like it ? good for you !
more to come later.

It looks like Jish is extremely happy about this girl. yet he won't give any details. a master of PR ? I'm sure. Congratulations nonetheless, friend :)

I don't think I've ever had as much beer as I have in the past couple of days. The ID celebrations for me invloved mainly drinking. We've had a barbeque but I suspect it was just an excuse for another beer drinking session. I've had an enormous hang-over today, which happily has passed about 3 hours after I woke up. I don't know my plans for this evening yet, but I do know they will not involve beer, I don't wanna end up with more alcohol than oxygen in my blood, though I suspect I'm not that far from it.

It's really hot in here. I think summer has started in Israel. Pictures of Israeli girls in bikinis will be posted asap!

Independence day is just around the corner, 54 years of the state of Israel. Had the founders seen us now, they would have been shocked. What has changed in these 54 years ? The world still hates us, the arabs sure do. Terror attacks have increased by hundreds of percents. We have one of the strongest armies in the world, and we still havn't achieved what we're here for - a peaceful, non-challenged life in our own country.

I think most of the people in Israel have already gave up peace. We've come to understand that peace is not a must. We're disappointed of all the dreams we once believed in so strongly. We're tired of the struggle, and in simple, childish words: We just wanna be left alone.

In 54 years this state's economy has risen and then dropped again, but this is not something to worry about too much. This country has a few of the best brains in the world. Once we sort out the problems with our neighbours we will be at the top again.

In 54 years this country has proven resiliant to all enemy actions and outside pressure. Say what you want about those damn Israelis, but once pressured into the corner, we unite and act as one, with no (almost no) internal quarrel.

But, nonetheless, this is going to be a sad Independence day, alot of our people have died in recent months, and most of the shows/celebrations have been cancelled due to the "national mood" and fear of terror. I have a feeling this is going to an I.D like none we've ever had before.
For the good or for the bad ? Only time will tell...

Here's a good article on blogging by Andrew Sullivan.
He makes an important point. with a right strategy, personal publishing could be used to surpass the ancient pipes of editor/publisher/advertiser which stop creativity and direct profit for the skilled writer. Am I going to be making millions one day with my hebrew weblog ? No fucking way. not in Israel, sorry Andrew. =)

Where's Home? is a great weblog/journal by a woman called Abra Kahan. She's an american living in Israel and she's in hard dilemmas. Making a living in Israel is hard enough, and surviving the terror attacks is another obstacle. yet she feels her heart belongs here. A really interesting read !

Some more fine linkage:

How to draw a chinese girl. an amazing bit of art. too slow for my opinion, but if you like that kind of stuff be sure to check it out.

Here's a really cool interactive bra. if you think it's a good idea, you can always email me a nude photo and I'll be happy to hep find your match.

and here's a nice idea to scare of people with keying habbits - get your car some teeth!

Hmm, enough, have a good week.

And you thought working in an office wasn't dangerous.

You know how it's like when a big dog tied in a leash sees another dog, and he strains against the leash, pushing all of his weight and muscles forward, seeing nothing else at that time ? You know what'll happen if you unleash him ? he'll fly forward like a dart, with nothing strong enough to stop him except for a big brick wall.
Well, that's just about how I feel right now. I won't let them stop me for long...

I live in Israel, I have no idea what this is all about, yet "The Krispy Kreme Challenge" looks like something really, really horrible !

Things Other People Accomplished When They Were Your Age

Thank you so fucking much ! Now I trully feel like a loser...

Have I already mentioned how much I love Meg's weblog ?

I got another plug to day in a Ynet article, to both my hebrew blog and the news site. which brought tons of visitors.
Problem with these visitors is, they usually tend to leave really annoying / offensive comments. you see, some web-surfers here in Israel think of the web as a big noisy market. they spit, they curse, and if someone let's them say their opinion (aka my comment system) they use it to diss, to brag and to piss other people off. I really wanna move my blog to MovableType, that way, it won't be as annoying to delete comments.
hmm, other than that I'm pretty hyper today, ran about 3 KM (Fuck off, I ain't gonna give you that in miles) and am getting ready to go out and have fun.

I Spent the morning maintaining, editing, adding links etc. the News site, answering my dozens of emails, wondering where do all those people come from and thinking about how much I should get out by now. ohh well, I'll do it as soon as possible, a beautiful day outside.

Yeah, I actually put up a flag. Who would have thought...
don't like it ? go away! I never asked you to come here in the first place. if this flag makes you proud and happy, just follow me as we scream and jump: "Polkaroo! I'm the menacing jew!!!"

Q: What are the greatest challenges in managing the blogging community?
I don't in any way claim, or try, to manage the blogging community. I try to help it along in my role of running Blogger. The main challenge there is just bringing the technology forward, while maintaining a major, fairly complex web site that's growing like kudzu with an increasingly less-technical audience, and doing it on a shoestring budget.

Hmm, that's a pretty neat way of describing the situation :-)

An Interview with Evan Williams about Blogger.

Just a thought...
You know what's so great about blogging ? everyone gets to call themselves pundits. how cool is that ? ( I Just hope no real pundit hears about it and voodoo's our white asses )

Yes, it's been done. I'm too tired to do anything, including blogging.
I havn't touched my site today, blogged a little something in hebrew, and I plan on ditching the computer after this one, I'll go and drink coffee. coffee always does me good. Anyways, the "news" site is going better than I've imagined. I'm getting pretty popular among the political/war related weblogs. I just hope that when I wake up tomorrow and go to the computer it'll all still be there. I have alot of maintaining work to do. ohh well... Good night !

The privacy of this place is wonderous !
After running about 4 different weblogs, in 2 different languages, with a comments system, with a counter and with a constant flow of email, I've finally "returned to the bases". this is really joyful for me...
Anyways, time to do what bloggers are supposed to do and bring you some quality linkage:

Antidote to the liberal Monotone: Blogging is all about weblogs being used as a part of republican propaganda. I wonder when will leaders of the arab nations start to blog, Saddam.blogspot.com anyone ?

Female or Shemale, can you tell? is a nice game for all of your wannabe machos. pretty tough, I know, but you should give it a try. I scored 11 out of 16, by the way.

A new weapon used in war against terrorism - a rubber machinegun ! get it now at your local rubber shop !

If you're an african-american, you might consider using this airline company.

I figured this blogspot might come on in handy one day,
Who would have thought it would be fashionable to post on blogspot...
Anyways, Hi, I'm Ohad and this is my weblog.
I have a bigger, better site at tellinglies.org but I plan on using this place for other sorts of content.
When I'll figure out which ones I'll let you know. for now, since I don't have a personal weblog in english, I guess this place will do.
